Democrats Rally to Protect Abortion Rights Amid Growing Legislative Challenges
Since Roe fell, every legislative majority under Democratic control has worked to protect or expand abortion rights. Six states have voted on and won abortion-related amendments, including voter turn-out in red states like Kansas and Ohio. “When reproductive rights were at stake, Democrats have won,” said Rhyan Lake, DNC deputy communications director. In the eleven states below, abortion is on or proposed for the ballot this year.
