Meet Randle Loeb

Welcome Randle Loeb, FUSD’s Building Custodian!

I’m a Reconstructionist Jew.  In my family, there have been generations of reformed rabbis.
My affiliation with Unitarianism began when I was a teenager participating in liberal religious youth at the Germantown Unitarian Universalist Church in Philadelphia, where I am originally from.
Our philosophy is to always perform mitzvahs or good deeds, as this is our only opportunity to be of service.  I am a graduate of Iliff School of Theology with a focus in pastoral care and education. I finished my Masters of Divinity degree in 1981.
I have three children.   Two beautiful daughters and a son between them. My children are estranged from my life, but their presence is eternal.
I love bike riding and swimming. (I was a lifeguard and water safety instructor trainer at the University of Pennsylvania.) I also love writing, public speaking, community building, baking bread, dancing, and singing.  My favorite music is opera. My dad took me to hear music.  He loved listening to arias.
Frederick was calm and focused. He taught me to love life despite its inequities and brokenness.
I’m a survivor mainly because I struggle for awareness.
