Three to Four Hours A Month = A World of Difference
Proudly, FUSD is a congregationally led and run community where service is essential to all we do. Everything that happens at FUSD happens because someone said YES to service.
Say YES to Elected Service
Outside of the Board of Trustees and Committee Chairs/Vice Chairs, most elected positions ask for just THREE to FOUR HOURS a month of your time. And there is much flexibility! Meetings can be virtual, in-person, or hybrid. They can happen in the morning, afternoon, or evening. Weekdays or weekends. A broad range of skills, talents, views, and backgrounds is needed and valued. Service can offer personal satisfaction by allowing us to contribute and form meaningful relationships through the work we perform together. This dedicated time is SMALL, but oh-so-SIGNIFICANT. It doesn’t just help FUSD run. It determines how well our beloved community will thrive.
