Holding a Banner to Suppor Immigrants, Friday, May 30th

(Thanks to Linda Nabours for the post)

Linda Nabours, a member of FUSD’s Immigration Circle, is active with Immigrant Protection Teams (IPT) and she is inviting folks from FUSD to participate in a banner drop. As part of the 50501 Visibility Brigade, IPT will drop banners at the Orchard RTD Station Pedestrian Bridge on 5/30, 4-6 PM for all our I-25 commuters in support of our Immigrant Friends and Neighbors!

We will have 2 HUGE Banners: ” Coloradans Stand With Immigrants” and “Every Immigrant is a Story.” Please feel free to bring your own signs too, the larger the better for visability.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE: There is no public parking either on street or in garages as the site is in the DTC. There are 48 vehicle spots in the RTD Lot but I do not know how crowded it will be on a weekday at 3:30 PM ON…… It might be a good idea to take the train from another station with better parking.
