Join us on August 2nd at 10:30 am. With the blatant rise of authoritarianism and white supremacy in this country, our UU values and voices are desperately needed in the public square. Some of us are active every day, wondering if and how we are making a difference. Some of us are overwhelmed and paralyzed by the onslaught of traumatic events. Many of us are probably a combination of both. Yet, we can make a difference, especially when we act collectively. In this service, Rev. Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry will share reflections from the January Clergy Call to Minneapolis during the height of the ICE occupation of that city and what it means for us in Colorado today.

Giving in Action – Clothes to Kids of Denver

Clothes To Kids of Denver proudly provides new and quality used clothing to students from low-income or in-crisis families throughout the Denver Metro Area, free of charge. Students ages 3-21 are invited to choose a school wardrobe from the wide selection of stylish clothing in our boutique, where families are treated with dignity and respect. Each student’s wardrobe includes five outfits, a pair of shoes, a coat and five pairs each of new socks and underwear. Clothes To Kids has given away more than 142,000 wardrobes since opening in 2008. That’s close to 3,000,000 pieces of clothing and shoes! Erin Martin, Development Director, will be here on Sunday to tell us more about the work they do.

Starting on June 7th, activities for all ages (4+) will be offered in the chapel after a Time For All Ages. We have one service at 10:30 am for the summer.

First Unitarian Events Coming Soon

Revised and Amended First Unitarian Church Bylaws

The congregation will be voting on the revised by-laws on October 11th, 2026. In preparation for that meeting, educational forums will be held on July 26th, August 30th, and September 27th of this year after the second church service. At least one member of the by-laws task force and of the board of trustees will be present for each of these sessions. Please review the attached revised bylaws, and bring any questions.
