Music can be a way in, a way forward, a way to different understanding. Hans Christian Anderson is credited with the famous quote: “where words fail, music speaks.” In this service, we hope to think of it more as: where words explain, music enlightens. This year’s Music Sunday will show how music can supply additional understanding to well known words, while also giving a clarity and foundation to new ideas.
