Joseph Howe will perform the Bach Cello Suite no. 4 in E flat, following our worship service (around 11:45 am) on
Sunday, July 20th. Joseph is preparing to perform this piece at the San Francisco Bach Festival in early August. This free recital will last about 25 minutes and will be held in the First Unitarian Denver sanctuary. Joseph is a professional cellist and teacher in Denver, Colorado. He holds the position of principal cello with Boulder Chamber Orchestra and associate principal cello of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. He is also a member of the Boulder Philharmonic and Sphere Ensemble. Joseph is passionate about period performance. He regularly performs on baroque cello as a member of American Bach Soloists in the Bay Area and Boulder Bach Festival’s Core Ensemble.
