Due to extreme weather conditions, and health hazards, the FUSD contingent will not be gathering at City Park to march in this year’s Marade.
The Luncheon will also be cancelled for today.
Join us between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm on January 15, 2024 at First Unitarian as we gather to celebrate and honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on the 103rd anniversary of his birth. We’ll have soup, greens, cornbread, and birthday cake. We’ll light a few candles, sing Happy Birthday, and hear a few of his memorable quotes.
You don’t have to be part of the Marade to join us. We will keep the doors open for those that go the full distance to the Capitol Building. You are invited to RSVP and or chip in $10 for lunch by clicking here.
