Update from the Board!
We are focusing on the special congregational meeting on October 11th to approve the amended and restated Bylaws. We are holding yet another educational forum after the second service on September 27. We received only one proposed amendment to the proposed bylaws.
The board has also approved its Annual Planning Form and is reaching out to all the committees to encourage them to complete their respective planning forms and forward them to the board of trustees.
The board also approved the Social Justice Committee's request to post social justice flags outside the building. We are also coordinating with the Committee on Shared Ministry to develop a Right Relations Team.
In the coming months, the board will review adding a second service and work on making our congregation healthier.
