Ed Dieringer ‧ President
"I am honored and excited to fulfill the role of President of the Board of Trustees for the 2025-2026 church year. I have been a Unitarian Universalist since 1983. My wife Tess and I were married by a UU minister in 1984 in Boise, Idaho, and raised our three daughters as UUs. We moved to Utah in 1990 where we were very involved in the First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City for 32 years. At SLCUU, I served as a board member and president, facilitating the transition to policy governance and was chair of a $3M capital campaign. Professionally, I developed and managed three for-profit businesses, one nonprofit foundation, and participated in various nonprofit board positions and government advisory committees. Upon moving to Denver in 2022, we promptly made the FUSD community our home. I have served on the Board of Trustees for the past two years and served as Vice President this past church year. My focus as President will be to evaluate our systems and make changes to improve our processes of connection, communication, and collaboration; promote the organizational health of our institution to support activation of our values; create greater financial, facility, and human capacity to meet the needs of our growing congregation; and help our community envision its priorities and implement plans to achieve them."
