You Can Join a CORE Circle

(thank you to Beverly Bravo for the post)-CORE Circles (Creative, Open, Religious, Exploration) are lay ministry groups that keep many of our members connected to each other and to the church. A trained facilitator takes a leadership role, and a genuine commitment is generally required of all members. These circles nurture friendships and create opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. Most circles have about 6-8 members and meet once a month.

However, since the pandemic hit, many circles have been meeting more often and providing weekly support to members. We would like to offer this opportunity to more church members, so anyone who may be interested in joining or forming a circle, we have devised a slightly easier option: A six-week version of CORE which, held remotely once a week for 60-90 minutes, would foster connection, and give a sample of what a lay ministry circle feels like. If, after six weeks, some participants wish to continue, then a permanent CORE Circle could be established.
