(thanks to Erin Kenworthy for the post)-Join the First Unitarian community for an outdoor day of remembrance ritual on Sunday, October 31st at Alamo Placita Park at 10:00a. We will hold space for celebrating and remembering those friends, family members, and pets whom we have lost during the last year (or longer). We’ll set up a shared altar space to hold photos, items, and food offerings for our beloved souls in memory. Please bring a chair or a blanket to sit on during our ritual that will include music and readings. You are also invited to wear a Halloween costume and stay after the ritual for light refreshments and a family friendly Halloween dance party in the park. All of this is weather permitting. Our back up plan in case of inclimate weather will bring us back to the sanctuary, and will be announced on our website.
