Welcome to First Unitarian Society of Denver! We are so glad you found us.

First Unitarian Society is a vibrant, inclusive, and inspired community committed to realizing justice, celebrating diversity, and growing souls in love and service. First Unitarian is a historic congregation with deep roots in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of downtown Denver. During Sunday services and throughout the week, our growing community provides opportunities to spiritually grow and religiously explore, engage local social justice, and connect with like-minded and like-hearted people of all ages. We invite you to join us on a Sunday and experience who we are as a community!

First Unitarian is located in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood just 11 blocks east of the state capitol. As such we are just minutes from just about anywhere in the metro area.

Being an urban church, finding parking can be a challenge! Arriving 10 minutes before the start of service is a good idea to find parking near the building. We also have a bike rack in front of the church and are accessible by bus.

Sunday mornings: First Unitarian has spaces reserved in the Alta Court lot across from the church on Lafayette St. You can park in the spots labeled FUSD. Parking is also available in the left lane of 14th street until 1:00 pm and metered spots on Colfax are free on Sunday.

Weekdays Evenings: Parking is available in the Alta Court lot across from the church in spots labeled FUSD-E.

Weekdays: On street parking available.

FUSD has a ramp at its west entrance (Lafayette Street) which leads to our main floor. Our elevator is located on the east side of the building (14th Street). We also have braille hymnals and hearing devices available during the service. Feel free to contact the office in advance of visiting if you have any questions or concerns:
