The brand new Indivisible Book Group for Denver CD1 will be having its first meeting on Sunday, April 2, 2p to 4:30p.  We will be discussing “Blueprint for Revolution” by Srdja Popovic.  The subtitle is “How to use rice pudding, lego men, and other nonviolent techniques to galvanize communities, overthrow dictators, or simply change the world.”  If you would like to participate and you are not already on the list, please email Carol.

This is an invitation for you to join me at the Oriental Theater on Sunday, April 2nd, for a screening of my documentary film, Following The Ninth: In The Footsteps of Beethoven's Final Symphony, the first in a trilogy about the global impact of Beethoven's music. The trailer is here. Following The Ninth has screened in over 200 cities in the United States and Canada, but this is the first presentation of the film in Denver. Please note: The deadline for donations is April 9.  So far, we have 35 items entered into the auction software, although I know our Donation Coordinators have some more not yet entered.  Last year, there were 275 items in the catalog, so we're looking for more.  We will have the catalog available by April 23 so that you can look it over and plan your strategy for bidding!

I just used my First Unitarian King Soopers Grocery card at Loaf and Jug to buy gas at the pump!  Get your grocery card for King Soopers, Safeway, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Natural Grocers during coffee hour any week and begin finding out all the little extra contributions you can make to support the life and work of this church without spending an extra dime!  Give them to your friends to use regularly or as a welcome gift for any holiday or event.
