Nationally Historic!

On July 14, 2017, First Unitarian Society of Denver was listed on the National Register of Historic Places See The Announcement Here

The National Register is “the official list of the Nation’s historic places worthy of preservation.”  Not only is this an immense honor, this listing will direct teachers and travelers to First Unitarian.  Through their, Teaching with Historic Places website, The National Register prepares specialized lesson plans.  We are one of the only sites listed which has LGBTQ historical significance.

History Colorado (as the local representative of the National Register) will present us with a bronze plaque (that makes 2!) to commemorate our listing.  Watch First Announce for a date!
